Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how GK Quiz Master, a product of TopNotchQuiz, collects, uses and protects your information when you use the GK Quiz Master mobile application and this website. By using the app or the website, you agree to the practices described below.

Disclaimer

GK Quiz Master is an independent educational application built solely for learning and competitive-examination preparation. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with any Government department, Government agency or official organization.

All information in the app is provided for educational purposes only. Please verify official notifications, examination schedules, eligibility criteria, syllabus and results with the respective Government authorities.

Information We Collect

When you sign in to the app, we may collect limited personal information, such as:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your profile picture (if available from your sign-in provider)

When you contact us through this website, we collect the details you choose to submit in our contact forms — for example your name, email address, message and, for institute enquiries, your institute name, role and phone number.

When you take the Daily GK Challenge on this website, we ask for your name before the quiz starts. We save that name with your quiz attempt (your answers, score and the date), together with a random anonymous identifier for your device so that each device gets one attempt per day. We do not ask for your email address or phone number, and your name is not shown publicly. Your name is also remembered in your browser so you are not asked again; you can change it at any time. Quiz attempt records are deleted automatically after about 180 days.

We also store the learning activity needed to run the app, such as quiz attempts, scores and progress, so it can be synchronized with your account.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to:

• Create and manage your account
• Provide access to app features
• Save and synchronize your learning progress
• Personalize and improve your experience
• Respond to support requests and website enquiries
• Send important app notifications (if you have enabled them)

We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Premium Services & Payments

Premium memberships and other digital purchases are processed securely by the respective app marketplace (such as Google Play). We do not collect or store your payment card, banking or other financial information.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, we may send updates about your account, study activity, announcements, new content and other app-related information. You can turn notifications off at any time from your device settings.

Advertisements

The free version of the app may show advertisements to support its continued development and maintenance. Advertising partners may use device identifiers in line with their own privacy policies and your device's ad settings.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, misuse or alteration. However, no method of electronic storage or internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your account directly from within the app. When you do, your personal information and associated app data held by GK Quiz Master are permanently removed, except where we are legally required to retain certain information.

If you cannot access the app, you can also request deletion by emailing support@gkquizmaster.com from the email address linked to your account.

Children's Privacy

GK Quiz Master is intended for educational use and does not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable laws. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information improperly, please contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app or website after an update means you accept the revised policy.
